As we examined our own eating habits and desire to have fresh, sustainable food, we felt the pull to begin growing it ourselves. We were not farmers by any stretch of the imagination but we knew with a little hard work and help from the good Lord, we could do it. In our adventure so far, we have had a lot success and more than our share of struggles. Through it all, we would not change a thing. We are honored to offer you local produce grown the way you would do it if you had the time, land, and experience.
Our produce is raised as holistically as possible. We use a high tunnel to extend our growing season. The Georgia sun and rains provide most of what our plants need.
Our chickens and pigs get to live their lives outside. They do what comes naturally. We feed them the best food we can find, often supplementing their grain with fresh produce.
We only purchase animals from farms and breeders we know to have ethical practices. We know most of them on a first name basis and love to share our love of animals with you.
